What is Risky Driving and Its Forms?

Risky driving is insecure, unsafe and against traffic rules and regulations. This type of driving could hurt other peoples on roads. So many accidents happen due to risky driving every year. It consists of drunk driving, drug-impaired driving, distracted driving, driving without a seat-belt, over-speeding and drowsy driving. So, the following are some of the ways that shows what is risky driving?

1. Drunk Driving

Some of the people driver vehicles after drunk. In this position, the human being cannot think and decide properly. All things look upside down. Driving in this condition is risky for you and the people on the road. Therefore, never do this.

2. Drug-impaired Driving

It is driving under the influence of an impairing substance or drugs. This is totally banned in most of the countries including India. Don’t drive the vehicle under this condition. It is dangerous both for you and others. Some more, it is a severe type of offense with fines and imprisonment.

3. Distracted Driving

Watching things around on sides during driving is called distracted driving. This is also risky and might lead to an accident. Always see straight at the road while driving.

4. Driving without Seat-belt

So many drivers are not following traffic rules and signals. By doing so, they are first risking their lives and then others on roads. As per new traffic rules, driving without seat-belt can fetch a fine of Rs.1000/-.

5. Over-speeding

It is another form of risky driving. Over-speeding or rash driving is always dangerous. Never do this. Life is precious and worthless. Always drive with patience and calm. Many well-experienced drivers die due to overconfidence. While driving rashly, drivers cannot control the vehicles as desired. Over-speeding too an offense under the Motor Vehicles Amendment Act 2019.

6. Drowsy Driving

It is driving in sleep and half-slept position. This is too risky and could take lives on the road. A better suggestion is to sleep well at least for 6 to 7 hours before driving. If someone still feels drowsy then wash face with plain water. This will give relief to the tiring eyes.

Thus, never follow risky driving. Drive with patience and obey traffic rules.
